Time is running out for the single most important piece of legislation for private lands fish and wildlife conservation in the nation. On Sept. 30, the federal Farm Bill will expire, along with billions of dollars for conservation funding.
The Farm Bill passed the full Senate and cleared the House Agriculture Committee this summer. Now the legislation awaits a vote on the floor of the House.
