Melinda Kassen spent most of her career working on water quality and water management issues, most recently at her firm, Waterjamin, and previously for Trout Unlimited, the Environmental Defense Fund, and the Colorado Attorney General. She’s taught law school, served as a Hill staffer, negotiated a clean-up agreement for a nuclear weapons site, and prosecuted domestic violence cases in Los Angeles. She’s an Ohio native, a graduate of Dartmouth College and Stanford Law School, and an avid outdoorswoman. She lives with her husband and son in Boulder, Colo.
