Wildfire, Big Game and Backcountry in the New Episode of ‘TRCP’s Conservation Field Notes’

Home to big game, wild turkey and native trout, the 172,762-acre Blue Range Primitive Area in Arizona is the last designated primitive area – an old term for designated backcountry lands – in the United States.

Join Steven Rinella on the latest episode of “TRCP’s Conservation Field Notes” as he hunts mountain lion and discusses the importance of the Blue Range Primitive Area to hunters and anglers. The loss of the area’s backcountry character would negatively impact sportsmen and the fish and wildlife we pursue.
