The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission of guaranteeing all Americans a quality places to hunt and fish. The TRCP is a coalition of leading hunting, fishing, and conservation organizations, labor unions, and individual grassroots partners.
We have a national focus on sportsmen’s access and conservation issues affecting hunting and angling. Along with our partners, the TRCP works to preserve the traditions of hunting and fishing in America by expanding access to places to hunt and fish, conserving fish and wildlife habitat, and increasing funding for conservation and wildlife management.
Our Financial Goals
We take great pride in our financial efficiency, accountability, and transparency. We work to make every dollar contributed go as far as possible. In 2017, the TRCP spent 80 percent of your contributions on programs, and just 20 percent on overhead. We continue to carefully monitor our administrative and fundraising spending to ensure control, transparency, and effective fundraising.
The TRCP is also proud to have received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator five years in a row. That’s top marks for every year they have rated us—only 8 percent of the charities they rate have a streak like ours. We have also been awarded a Platinum Seal rating from Guidestar and the highest possible rating from the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance.
